Understanding Loops

Loops are a way to scroll through a report’s slides automatically. A common use case for this feature is to display metrics on a large screen throughout the day.

*Note that loops are only available in the Slide Deck workflow. This is because loops do not support active filtering.

To control a loop setting a user must have the builder role and have edit access on the report.

To configure a loop, view the report in the Viewer, and select the gear icon in the top right corner, select a rotation interval and refresh frequency.

Next, toggle the Loop Behavior to ON. At this point, anyone that views the report will experience the loop behaviors both while in regular viewing mode and full-screen viewing mode.

To deactivate a loop, toggle the Loop Behavior to OFF. The loop behavior change will be updated for all viewers.
