Using a Filter

Click into a Scaled Report Summary. If you come to this page and don't apply any filters, the page will display all the reports that have been generated in this Scaled Report. To apply a filter that the builder has configured, click the "Filters" button at the top. A window will present the filter options. Select which filters to apply and click "Run".

Now, only cards that meet the filter criteria will be displayed. This can be helpful to direct people to the reports they need.

Setting up Filters for Report Viewers to Use

To set up filters on a Scaled Report Summary, you'll need to have Edit access on the Scaled Report and the VividCharts Builder role. With those things in place, you'll see a light purple panel on the right side of the page. Open that to find the Filter configuration options.

Fill in the information required to create your filter. Once completed, click "Save". Your filter is immediately applied to the Scaled Report and you can test it for yourself. Click "Filters" at the top of the page to simulate what other users will experience and to confirm your filters meet your intentions!
