Sharing a Project Status Report via In-Browser

  • While viewing your Project Report, you can share an in-browser view of your report by clicking the 3 dot ellipsis then clicking ‘Share’.

  • This will give you the option to permit access to view or edit the report to certain users, groups, or roles in ServiceNow. You can also share with ‘All logged in users’.

  • Once you have set your permissions, copy the URL provided, click ‘SHARE’, and distribute the link.

  • Alternatively, to share with non logged in users, set the ‘Roles’ permission to ‘public’.

Sharing a Project Status Report via Export

  • While viewing your Project Report, you can export it by clicking the 3 dot ellipsis in the upper right hand corner, then clicking the ‘Download’ icon.

  • This will give you the option of exporting to PDF or PPTX. Click download.

Sharing multiple Project Status Reports in a Set

  • To create a ‘Set’ of multiple reports, click on the ‘checkbox’ next to each Project Status Report that you would like to include in the ‘Set’.

  • Then click the 'Create Set' button that appears in the upper right hand corner.

  • Once you have entered a name for your set, click ‘Save’ and your summary view will reflect your new set.

  • Once you have created your set, it will be added to a dropdown list in the left hand corner of the summary page, along with the original ‘Show All Records’ summary view.

  • To view and share your set, click the 'Open in Viewer' button in the upper right hand corner.

  • Once on the viewer page, click the 3 dot ellipsis in the upper right hand corner, the click on the 'share' icon.
