Creating a Project Status Report Template

  • From the home page, Click on the +Create Something New button in the upper right corner.

  • Select 'Scaled Reports' as the asset type.

  • For help getting started, visit the VividCharts Help Center.

  • Once you have completed building your template, click the SAVE in the upper right corner.

  • NOTE: Make sure you take a screenshot of your final view so you can upload it as a thumbnail - this will help you identify the template later on.

  • Once saved, click SAVE TEMPLATE in the upper left navigation bar.

  • Be sure to select the correct process area: Project. Then click NEXT.

  • This next step will show you all default table mappings and any additional tables that were used to build the charts on your template.

  • If there are any table mappings missing, you need to add a Primary Location ID for that table. Reach out to VividCharts for help with this step.

  • Once all table mappings are confirmed, click NEXT.

  • Fill out the required fields. Title should be the same title as your View. Give a description to help give more context to this template. Upload a screenshot to help identify this template.

  • Selecting a record allows you to preview what the template will look like once it is set up with a Summary. Select a Project record to test the template with then click Preview.

  • Click Save As New.

  • Click Save in the upper right corner to maintain the Template/View relationship.
