A Demand State Tracker refers to a data visualization tool used to monitor and manage the demand for IT resources and services within an organization. It helps IT departments understand the current and future needs of users and stakeholders, enabling them to allocate resources effectively and efficiently. Demand State Trackers display each state for a demand and indicate what state the demand is currently in by color that state. The demand example below is in the Completed state.

Let's look at the Data and Chart options for this Demand State Tracker. A Demand State Tracker is dealing with a demand and will therefore default to the Demand - dmn_demand table.

Record: Simply select the demand record that you want the Demand State Tracker to display the demand state for.
