Percent Complete Charts are used to visually represent the progress or completion status of a project, task, or goal over time. It is a type of chart that helps stakeholders, project managers, and team members understand how much of a project has been completed at any given point.

This Percent Complete Chart example below will be looking at the percent complete of a project.

Let's look at the Data and Chart options for this Percent Complete Chart. The chart is dealing with projects so we we want to use the Project - pm_project table.

Field: Refers to a specific unit of data that represents a characteristic or attribute of a record in a table. For this Percent Complete Chart we want the percent complete field data so the field input is set to Percent complete - percent_complete.

Record: Refers to a single instance of data or information within a specific table. For this chart we are looking at the Cloud Management 3.0 project. This is the project that the project complete data is being retrieved from.
