Percentage scores provide a standardized way to quantify and communicate information, making it easier to compare, analyze, and interpret data in different domains.

The Percentage Score below is looking at the incident table and providing a percentage score for new incidents.

Let's look at the Data and Chart options for this Percentage Score, and how they are set to provide the percentage score of open incidents.

We are dealing with incidents for this example so we want to pull data from the incident table.

Condition: Setting conditions allows you to query the table you are building the chart off of, in this case, the Incident table. For this Percentage Score we want to see the percentage of new incidents, so the first condition is set to incident state is new.

Aggregate Type: Refers to a data aggregation method or function used to combine or summarize data from multiple records. They allow users to perform calculations on sets of records to derive meaningful insights. Some common aggregate types include:

  1. Count: Calculates the number of records in a set.

  2. Count Distinct: counts the number of unique, non-duplicated values in a field.

  3. Sum: Adds up the values of a specified field for a set of records.

  4. Average: Computes the average value of a specified field for a set of records.

  5. Minimum: Finds the minimum value of a specified field in a set of records.

  6. Maximum: Determines the maximum value of a specified field in a set of records.

Let's look at the changes made to the default style settings for this Percentage Score.

This Percentage Score has a custom title of New Incidents to provide easy insight into what data the Percentage Score is providing.

Next, a background color is selected to make the Percentage Score standout. The Border Radius is set 6 to give the Percentage Score slightly curved edges.
