Report sources that are available for use in the VividCharts application are listed in the VividReportSources table ( ‘x_vivid_vc_core_vividreportsources’ ). Any report source listed here should be available as an option within the VividCharts application.

How Is This List Populated?

This table is populated using existing ServiceNow report sources ‘sys_report_source‘. It is important to note, the ServiceNow report sources must have a populated Display field to be added to the VividReportSources table. VividCharts updates daily via a scheduled job. This update will check for new or removed report sources for inclusion or removal from this table. This means that a report source will not be available until after the scheduled update.
