Step 1:

Open “Apps” from the Top Navigation Bar.

Step 2:

Select “Template Builder”

Step 3:

Complete the Template builder per below instructions:

  1. Title: (Title of Summary Template)

  2. Description: (Description of Summary Template)

  3. Image: Upload the previously saved image of the Template

  4. Select from templates: (Name of template being used for Summary)

  5. Customer Facing: Toggle ON

  6. Template feature groups: Select the app that correlates with your template

  7. Select table and assign data path: Map each table used in the template by specifying the relationship to the primary record. Use the below for reference or reach out to VividCharts for support. The relationship between related tables and the primary record can be confirmed by going to a record and finding the copying the query.

In this example, we are looking at a project record and the related table is Project Task.

If we right click on "Parent = PRJ0010575" and click "Open In new Window", we can see in the URL what the correct query will be and confirms the relationship from Project Tasks to Project is Parent. In the below example, the relevant information is in bold.

So the table mapping information would look like this:

    Table: pm_project_task

    Primary: parent

    Secondary: false

    Project Status Hub

    Table: pm_project

    Location ID (Primary) = sys_id

    Location ID (Secondary) = false

    Table = project_status

    Location ID (Primary) = project

    Location ID (Secondary) = sys_id

    Demand Review Hub

    Table: dmn_demand

    Primary: sys_id

    Secondary: false

    Program Status Hub

    Table: pm_program

    Primary: sys_id

    Secondary: false

    Portfolio Health Hub

    Table: pm_portfolio

    Primary: sys_id

    Secondary: false

    MSP Hub

    Table: core_company

    Primary: sys_id

    Secondary: false

    Change Request

    Table: change_request

    Primary: sys_id

    Secondary: false

    CAB Meeting

    Table: cab_meeting

    Primary: sys_id

    Secondary: false

    Major Incident

    Table: incident

    Primary: sys_id

    Secondary: false

    Problem Review

    Table: problem

    Primary: sys_id

    Secondary: false

Step 4:

Once all tables used in the template have a data path assigned, select the 'Submit' Button, then 'Back to Home'
