Summary data is refreshed every evening during an overnight scheduled job or when triggered manually depending on the configuration of the Data Refresh on the summary. Refreshing data will collect:

  • New projects

    • Note: new projects must meet the pre-filter conditions of your Summary to appear.

  • Projects with a status report that has been created for the first time

  • Existing project's most recent status report

  • Any changes made to the project record, project status record, or any related tables included in your VividCharts project template.

If changes have been made to the project record, or a new project status has been created, it can be helpful to utilize the Refresh button on the Summary page to collect the most recent updates. To do so, follow these steps:

Step 1: Make desired changes in ServiceNow.

Step 2:

  • If you have the builder and the refresher roles you can add the project(s) into a Set by Creating a Summary Set (if not already in one).

  • If you have the builder role and edit access to the Summary you can refresh the summary from the Summary List view without the need to add projects to a Set.

Step 3: Click REFRESH

Step 4: Click ACCEPT

Step 4: Once the Views generate, click View to see the updates reflected on the VividCharts Status Report
