Special Notes

The 2.1.0 release adds enhancements to the notification behavior, which also require some changes to relevant tables in our applications. To account for these changes, the release includes a pair of fix scripts to ensure currently scheduled recurring notifications are maintained. If you or your users currently use scheduled notifications, we recommend taking the following steps for a smooth transition:

  1. After upgrade, navigate to the x_vivid_vc_core_notification table

  2. Filter for notifications that have a “repeating” value of true

  3. If you see the notifications you expect there, verify they have the correct value in the “Next scheduled” field

  4. If you do not see the expected results at step 2, you may need to run the fix script named “2.1 - Schedule existing notifications”

  5. After running the fix script, repeat steps 2 and 3
