Added in Rich Strike 2.0.0

Summary

The updated X and Y Axis Settings in VividCharts 2.0 give users greater flexibility and precision when customizing chart labels. Unlike previous versions where label styles were shared across data values and axes, version 2.0 separates these settings for more detailed control. This enables users to adjust label orientation, size, and font independently for the X axis, Y axis, and data values.

Feature Capabilities

  • Separate configuration sections for:

    • X Axis settings

    • Y Axis settings

    • Data Values (labels above data bars)

  • New settings specific to chart types and axes

    • Min/Max values

    • Truncation

    • ...

Benefits of Using This Feature

  • Fine-grain control over chart label appearance

  • Improved readability by avoiding overlapping or improperly oriented labels

  • Enhanced customization for professional and branded visual styling

  • Flexibility to style X and Y axes differently based on chart type or layout

  • Consistent visual output that matches user and stakeholder preferences
